Workers to Lobby Giambra to Keep Convention Center Open
On Friday December 2nd at 10am, workers of the Buffalo Convention Center will be meeting with Erie County Executive Joel Giambra to keep the Convention Center open. The meeting will take place in the office of the County Executive.

It was recently reported that Erie County, due its fiscal crisis, may have to close the Buffalo Convention Center. There are roughly 40 workers at the Convention Center. SEIU Local 200United has the privilege of representing 18 of these workers.

At 9:30am, workers will be talking with the media to express their concerns outside of the Buffalo Convention Center.
